Exotica and something, a first for me :)

I can't even recall what happened all these days...I got a year older, met some exotic new
people, decided not to smoke and then had a smoke again..wanted to travel to somewhere serene and peaceful...instead ended up driving on the streets and back as if there was no end..still on the road.!!!..

Zinda wasn't much of an inspiration as the song by Strings...its been buzzing out of my headphones ever since...awesome lyrics and a nice soulful/powerful rendition..!!.

Am in a tax mess, need to clean up my act and decide on how much i wanna provide to the govt coffers this time around...Just wish this company was as lenient as the others with its rules..!!There's nothing to be made up here...infact can't be...what really is, is there..!!


Was following the test series and kinda felt good on Team Paki winning the series with the last test match...Donno but its one of those few times when you feel better even when its not you or your team holding the trophy aloft in the 'blaze of glory'!!!..

Patriotism aside, i genuinely felt they had a greater zeal to win this time around and played much much better than us...!!...But we can always bounce back, whats the one dayers for....!!!

Will stop at this now, well there's someone really exotic that i discovered (or maybe it was the other way round..!!)..interesting stuff, will explain later..!!!

Coffee and KK

No, this blog's not gonna fade away just like that!!..Me was preoccupied..!!

Lets leave the tech track for now..!!!

So, KK perfomed live and Shankar Mahadevan via the satellite this week as Core Duo..,the newest processor which was co-designed in India...designed in India??? (!..chuckle)..Companies would do anything for publicity!!really...And point is people do believe...

Anyway, KK was great, he packed all the enthu he could and really made the intellites dance to his tune...A very different KK, from the last time i saw him 3 years ago in college...Then he used to stand and deliver (if you like the phrase...) and no jumping (lest he should misplace the gel in his hair!!..)..But a good singer, has some nice songs to his credit...i liked the one from 'Aashayein' the most...

On a personal front, i need to join a gym badly!!...I need to..i need to..I need to repeat this too!!!....Am starting to be a regular at India coffee house on MG...The food is good, non-oily and leaves a good feeling in the gut after you have it...And the place is older than soveriegn India is, i suppose..The hangings on the wall remind of a period in Indian history well gone and buried in the minds of the few who are still breathing...Here's a snapshot of the coffee, i bet it taste's better than what Barista has to offer..!




Reading - Five Point Someone by Mr. bhagat from IITd and iimA ...can't comment anything as of now..apparently is a mix and match of reality and exaggeration in hostel life, to put it very very plainly..

Core 2 Duo, MS Vista and Nokia N91

Well these past days were really hectic...
Filling up the perf review forms for all...here its called 360 degree and mine too..

Well saw the CES conference video just this week...CES is the Consumer Electronics Show where all that's latest in the PC or Electronics is displayed and showcased...Nice forum if you are even a bit interested in knowing what the future has in store in terms of technologies that could (or maybe surely will..) hit our homes...
This time it was good with a lot of new things...So for this year for we the common people, here's what is in store ---

1. Core Duo from intel, newest processors which have low power consumption, giving higher
battery life, and better performance...Also they are Dual Core (have to execution cores
instead of just one..)

2. Vista from MS, the long awaited succesor to XP..(hopefully this year it comes..)
Well Vista has a lot of positive changes...Aeroglass (this will give a 3D feeling to the
desktop, but only if you use certain high-end graphics cards), SuperFetch (have a USB stick
sitting idle, plug it in to ur computer and watch how fast ur applications open..),
Better search than XP, wonder if Google Desktop Search is gonna go out....and others..

3. N91 series from Nokia, a whole bunch of new phones will cool features...that may or may not
allow you to watch (lo-behold!...) TV on your phone...Actually thats the big bang in phones
this year, after integrating the camera they wanna show us TV on the phone..
